MUNDIAL UNIVERSITARIO DE CAMPO A TRAVÉS, KINGSTON, ONTARIO (CANADA)

Lo que se habla de nuestros atletas en la página oficial del Mundial Universitario.

(...) The men’s teams from Great Britain, Australia, and Spain finished second, third and fourth two years ago. The Brits have no one returning, but the top men from 2008 on both other teams will be running at Fort Henry. Australian Liam Adams would like to move up his individual position from silver to gold, and Spain’s Javi Guerra to move ahead of the two Frenchmen who beat him on their home turf. This time, he should have a teammate amongst the top ten. Young Alberto Lozano, whose twin Álvaro is competing as well, has been consistently improving. However, Brit Mitch Goose beat him in the Dec. under23 European Championships, as he did Mohamed Elbinder. If Elbinder races at the top of his form, the Spanish team will do well. If Canadian Matt Brunsting is at the top of his form, he could give the home team its best individual placing ever. In fact, if the Canadian University medalists all run their best, the team should also have its best finish ever. (...)
